NStar representatives will be at the Walpole Public Library Wednesday at 7 p.m. to talk about ways to save energy in the home in the last in a series of programs on “Green Building/Green Homes” sponsored by the library’s trustees. The discussion will be moderated by Trustee Chair David Wildnauer, an architect and advocate of building with conservation in mind. He said the new library — which opened in 2012 and incorporates numerous “green” features, such as solar panels and recycled materials — was the inspiration for the program. “We decided to use it as an object lesson for sustainable building education,” he said.
