Senior Care bringing Christmas spirit

This is a summary. To read the whole story subscribe to BostonGlobe.com

Home Instead Senior Care of North Andover is looking to bring Santa into the lives of seniors. Some seniors may be overlooked in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. The organization is hoping that, through the generous donations of others, Santa can come alive again in the hearts of older community members. There will be a small Christmas tree at CVS, 115 Main St., through Dec. 6. The tree will have the names of seniors in the area with modest gift requests. All gifts should be purchased and returned, unwrapped, to CVS (along with the corresponding tag). Area Girl Scout troops, along with Brightview Senior Living in North Andover, will wrap the gifts. Home Instead Senior Care will deliver them to area agencies who have identified the seniors in need.
