A Boston police vehicle responding to a shooting was struck by another vehicle in Dorchester, sending three undercover Boston police officers and two civilians to the hospital Wednesday night, authorities said. The undercover officers were heading to a call on the shooting in the area of Elmore and Munroe streets in Roxbury with lights and sirens activated when a vehicle struck them at about 8:30 p.m., at the intersection of Ashmont Street and Dorchester Avenue, police said. The officers and two occupants of the other vehicle suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening. In the shooting, one person suffered wounds not considered life-threatening, and another was in custody, police said.
