The town has launched a redesigned website intended to make information easier to find and avoid duplication, systems administrator Donald Hillegass said in an interview. “It’s easier to navigate,” he said. The site, www.townofsharon.net, went live Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. but was still receiving content through the end of the following week, according to Hillegass. It offers e-mail subscriptions to town announcements and has an index titled “Where do I Find?” It was designed by Maynard-based Virtual Towns & Schools, often known by its former name, Virtual Town Hall, a company that specializes in municipal websites.
