Woman is dragged, killed in hit-and-run accident in Revere

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Revere Tuesday evening, said the Suffolk district attorney’s office. State and local police responded to the call at 7:15 p.m. The woman, in her early 50s, was struck on Broadway and dragged, said Jake Wark, a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel F. Conley. Investigators interviewed an MBTA driver Tuesday whose bus was in the area at the time of the collision, but that driver has not been charged, Wark said. State, Revere, and MBTA Transit police are investigating.
