The Hull Artists, which promotes the arts in town, has opened a studio to showcase and sell members’ work. “Studio at the Beach” is coming ashore at 121 Nantasket Ave., on the ground floor of the Ocean Place condominium complex. According to a press release, the shop will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The official grand opening of the space is this Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. The Hull Artists had operated a shop for about 10 years at the other end of Nantasket Beach in a garage owned by the state Department of Conservation and Recreation, but the shop was displaced five years ago, according to group spokesman Bill Smyth. “This is indeed an exciting time, for I fondly remember the original Studio at the Beach, and there is every indication that this will be even more successful,” he said.
