McCue finalist for Carver job

Town Administrator Michael McCue is one of four finalists for the same position in Carver. Selectmen there say they hope to make a decision this week. McCue, who has held the top administrative job in Avon for more than six years, said in an e-mail that “Carver is an opportunity for a new challenge in a larger community and seems to be a natural progression in my professional growth.” The other finalists are Cohasset Acting Town Manager Michael Milanoski; Rockland Town Administrator Allan R. Chiocca; and former Rehoboth Town Administrator David Marciello. Carver, which lost its longtime town administrator to Abington in June, has a population of approximately 11,500, compared with Avon’s 4,400.
