The 7-year-old, who was near the Marathon finish line last April, has shown empathy far beyond her years since that difficult day.
“I could talk for days about the incredible acts of kindness that my daughter has displayed in her very short life,” a single father who lives west of Boston wrote in a letter to Globe Santa. “She is such a great little girl with a heart as big as she is herself.”
