The black-brimmed cap, embroidered with a now-retro yellow and white logo, has followed Sorenti through his Archbishop Williams hockey career. It’s a good luck charm for the senior from Bourne. “We had a Saturday game my freshman year and I was wearing this hat all day,” Sorenti said. “I took it off and got my first goal that game, so I’ve always worn it. I’m a superstitious kid.” Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
