A Mattapan man was arrested Saturday evening after threatening his girlfriend and nearly running down two officers—injuring one of them—while fleeing from police in Dorchester, according to Boston Police.
At 6:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person making threats with a gun in the area of Magnolia and Robin Hood streets and found that Jeromie Jones, 32, of Mattapan, who was driving a gray SUV, had threatened his girlfriend during a phone conversation, according to police.
The victim said she and Jones, her boyfriend, had an earlier argument that ended with her telling him “he was no longer welcome in her apartment,” according to a statement from Boston Police.
She said that after leaving the apartment, Jones called and said he was returning with a gun, according to police. Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
