Three people were arrested on drug trafficking charges in Waterville on Friday, including a man believed to be part of a New York drug trafficking group. Police and agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said they have been investigating the sale of crack cocaine and oxycodone in the Union Street area of Waterville for three months. On Friday, police arrested Dorian White, 26, formerly of New York City, on fugitive from justice and drug trafficking charges. Police said they found 30 oxycodone pills and over $14,000 in cash on him. Also arrested on an outstanding warrant was Ashley Loisel, 20, of Winslow. A third person, Lamar Mitchell, 23, of Bangor, was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and unlawful possession of oxycodone after police searched a vehicle and an apartment.
