The Bellingham Public Library will host an open house and reception previewing upcoming science-focused educational programs Jan. 18 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Anastasia Moulis and Alan Kafka, with the Boston College Educational Seismology Project, will head up the presentation, which kicks off the library’s “Shaking up STEM” effort to promote education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
