FBI vows to release report on shooting of alleged Marathon bomber associate

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has completed its internal investigation into the May shooting of Ibragim Todashev — a friend of accused Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarneav — and is “eager” for its results to be released publicly, an FBI spokesman said today.

Both the FBI’s internal investigation into the May 22 shooting and the Florida state’s attorney probe have been completed, said FBI spokesman Paul Bresson.
