The Brim Beanie Bandit has struck again, according to the FBI.

The serial bank robber, who has eluded authorities for weeks, struck the Dedham Savings bank at 55 Elm St. in Dedham at 10:40 a.m. today, said FBI spokeswoman Katherine Gulotta.

This marks his sixth successful robbery in the past month. He has also hit banks in Quincy, Braintree, Needham, and Stoughton, robbing the Stoughton location twice. He also is believed to have attempted to rob a bank in Dorchester, the FBI said.

Authorities describe the bandit as a white man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, in his late 40s or early 50s.

During each robbery, the bandit has worn a dark sweatshirt or jacket, black pants, black gloves, dark boots, and brim beanie, said Gulotta. A brim beanie, also known as a visor beanie, is a winter hat with a short brim favored by hipsters.

The FBI asked anyone with information on the bandit to call local police or the FBI. A reward will be given to anyone who provides information leading to his arrest, the FBI said.
