Norwell teen faces charges that he possessed a dozen explosive devices

A Norwell 15-year-old is facing charges that he possessed a dozen homemade explosive devices after police responding to a report of an explosion in a residential neighborhood allegedly found numerous devices in the shed in the backyard of the boy’s home.

The boy has been charged with 12 counts of unlawful possession of an explosive device, possessing components to create an explosive device, and detonating an explosive device, Norwell police said in a statement.
