Man arrested during botched home invasion in Dorchester is arraigned on gun charges

The man arrested by Boston police Wednesday moments after he allegedly participated in a deadly home invasion pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of firearm charges in Dorchester Municipal Court Thursday.

Cedrick Slayden, 18, is also charged with illegal possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm, charges that stem from his arrest on Esmond Street in Dorchester Wednesday as police responded into the neighborhood to investigate a shooting.
