One employee stabbed multiple times, another hit in head after fight breaks out inside Boston bar

An employee at The Greatest Bar in downtown Boston was stabbed repeatedly and a co-worker hit in the head with a bottle this morning as they attempted to break up a large fight on an upper floor of the venue, according to Boston police.

A detail officer working outside the bar was alerted to the stabbing around 1:15 a.m., said Officer Nicole Grant, a spokeswoman for the Boston police.

The officer went inside to help break up the fight on the third floor when he was stopped and told that someone had been injured in the brawl and was sitting outside in a taxi. The victim was an employee who had been stabbed in the neck, back, and arm, said police.
