A workshop at the South Shore Chamber of Commerce this Wednesday will coach participants on how to balance professional and personal goals in the new year. The event will be co-facilitated by Nora Helbich, a motivational speaker and business consultant, and Diana Scolponeti, a public relations expert and business consultant. “People struggle so much with the balance between personal and professional goals,” Scolponeti said in an interview. “We’ve got a lot of technology in our lives and especially for people who own their own businesses, you’re always working, because you have 24-hour accessibility. Now more than ever, our personal lives take a back seat, but in order to do well at work, we need to be well-rested and happy.” The event will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. It costs $25 for chamber members and $50 for non-members.
