A 96-unit assisted-living facility at 1074 Washington St. will hold a grand opening this Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The residence was built by Hanson-based All American Assisted Living, an affiliate of New York-based Kaplan Development Group LLC. Residents began moving into the facility in November, Ben Levine, a spokesman for All American Assisted Living, said in an interview. Each suite shares a living area, a kitchenette, and bathroom. The facility also offers a parlor, a library, recreational rooms, a bistro, and public lounges, along with a secure wing for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of memory loss. Thursday’s event, free and open to the public, will be a cocktail reception featuring live entertainment and appetizers. Those planning to attend are asked to register beforehand by calling 781-447-4100. Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
