There’s something for almost everyone next weekend in and around the waters of Hull. On Saturday, the Hull Lifesaving Museum will sponsor the CRASH-Bobs indoor rowing competition from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the museum. Participants can compete on ergs in 2K or 5K distances. Or they can take on the Liffman Challenge, a 5k erg followed by running or biking the 2.5-mile hills of Hull. That event begins at 10:30 a.m. and pre-registration is required by going to www.hulllifesavingmuseum.org. Then there’s a two-day array of “drowned hogs’” events benefiting Wellspring Multi-Service Center — starting with Friday’s Beach Ball at Daddy’s Beach Club, 280 Nantasket Ave., from 7:30 p.m. On Saturday at 11 a.m., participants in the 19th annual Drowned Hogs Swim will dip into the Atlantic for the charity, followed by the seventh annual Soup and Chowderfest sponsored by the Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce.
