A Dorchester man is facing charges after police found him driving a stolen vehicle down Geneva Avenue early today, Boston police said.
Seneca Johnson, 37, is to be arraigned in the Dorchester division of Boston Municipal Court on charges of receiving a stolen vehicle and driving without a license, police said.
Police spotted a gray Honda driving fast down Geneva Avenue and Oakley Street without its headlights on just after 1 a.m. today.
Officers ran the license plate numbers, and found that the car had been reported stolen from Cambridge. When they stopped the car, Johnson said he was borrowing it from a friend. He was arrested when he could not name the friend, police said.
