A health partnership headed up by the town of Hudson has received state grant money to address health conditions for high-need populations in Framingham, Hudson, Marlborough, and Northborough. The partnership is one of nine across the state, each of which will receive up to $250,000 for initial work, with additional funding planned for each of the next three years. Hudson will work with the other municipalities in the partnership, a number of clinical and community partners, and Boston-based public health consulting firm John Snow Inc. to provide interventions to particularly address tobacco use, hypertension, pediatric asthma, and falls among the elderly.
