Calling all “Jaws” enthusiasts: Everything you ever wanted to know about sharks will be discussed at a Water Watch series lecture, “Sharks in Our Waters,” at South Shore Natural Science Center at 7 p.m. on March 5. Bram Lutton, an Endicott College professor and shark expert, will talk about the types of sharks most often found in the waters off the New England coast. The free event is being co-sponsored by the North and South Rivers Watershed Association. “I think that sharks are very misunderstood,” said Debbie Cook, communications director for Norwell-based association. “The more we learn about them, the more we discover how important they are to the fabric of ocean life.” For more information, visit www.ssnsc.org.
