Wakefield police are searching for a teenage girl who ran away from a state Department of Children and Families group home March 7, authorities say. Rosalinda Chavez, 14, was last seen March 7, when she was dropped off at Everett High School, said John M. Guilfoil, a spokesman for Wakefield police. Chavez has a history of running away, and police believe that she may be in danger, Guilfoil said. Wakefield police notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and police in Boston, Everett, and New York, Guilfoil said. Chavez is a light-skinned Hispanic, 5 feet 5, and weighs about 160 pounds.
