Emergency personnel responded to a construction accident at 45 Stuart St. this morning, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Boston EMS treated 2 on the scene. One was brought to Tufts Medical Center with a serious head injury, and the other was hospitalized for a minor injury, according to Boston Fire.
The injuries resulted from a partial collapse to the upper floors of a building under construction. 120 workers were in the building at the time of the incident.
Floor 12 collapsed down to the fifth floor of the building, which is planned to be a 33 story structure, according to the Boston Fire Department.
