Holyoke boy shot by BB while riding school bus

Police are on the lookout for someone who shot a 12-year-old Holyoke boy with a BB gun Thursday while the boy was riding the school bus home.

According to the Springfield ABC-affiliate WGGB, the boy was looking out of the bus’ open window on the bus when he saw two teenagers in an alley way. One of the teens allegedly shot the boy in the forehead with a BB gun.

Massachusetts law prohibits minors from operating BB guns without adult supervision. It’s also illegal in the state to fire a BB gun in public streets and alleyways.
