The second day of spring isn’t expected to disappoint, but the region could see a very brief return to wintry weather this weekend.
“There’s a chance of light rain and snow showers [Saturday], but it’ll be out of here by mid-morning,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Charlie Foley. “Sunday will be the more agreeable day, a bit cooler but more sunshine.”
The sun should stick around today, with high temperatures reaching into the mid-40s. Cloud coverage will increase in the evening as temperatures cool to 30 degrees.
