Free community shredding event at Memorial Hall Library

The town is scheduled to sponsor a free community shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12, in the Memorial Hall Library parking lot, 2 North Main St. Residents may bring a bag or an entire car filled with old files and papers. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to safely shred confidential documents, which may help to prevent identity theft. Staples, paper clips, and folders do not need to be removed.
