A funeral service is being held this morning for Lieutenant Edward J. Walsh Jr. at St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown. Walsh was killed battling a nine-alarm fire in the Back Bay last Wednesday. Thousands of people including law enforcement officials, first responders, and residents are expected to attend the services. There will be a procession to the church ahead of the 10:30 funeral mass.
