It’s pillow fight time, Boston!

More than 400 people brought their pillows to participate in the International Pillow Fight Day at North Point Park in April of 2013.

Boston is celebrating International Pillow Fight Day by holding a massive pillow fight at the Cambridge Common on Saturday, April 5.

This will be the city’s 8th annual pillow fight and will start promptly at 3 p.m. Organizers of the event said they encourage all pillow fighters to arrive by 2:55 p.m.

According to the event’s Facebook page, if you plan to participate, here’s what you need to know:

1. Don’t bring beanbag, feather, or zippered pillows. This will help minimize clean up and injuries

2. Don’t hit someone that doesn’t have a pillow or is holding a camera

3. Take off your glasses if you’re wearing them for the fight

4. Costumes are encourage, but please make sure they are family-friendly

So find your best pummeling pillow, don your most creative costume, and get out there for Boston’s biggest pillow fight.
