Three of the iconic cows from the former Hilltop Steakhouse have been adopted by MarketStreet Lynnfield. The mother and two calves will now graze at MarketSquare and help co-host events and communicate news with shoppers via social media. You can follow the cows on Twitter (@StyleMoos), Facebook (Facebook.com/StyleMoos), and Instagram (@StyleMoos).

In order to get ready for today’s unveiling, the three cows received a bit of a facelift from their old look.

“We loved what a fun and time-honored New England landmark the cows were at Hilltop and we are always seeking ways to make the MarketStreet Lynnfield experience a unique one for the community,” Laurel Sibert said in a statement. Sibert is the Vice President of Corporate Marketing with WS Development, which co-developed and manages MarketStreet Lynnfield.

The MarketStreet Cows will host their first event—an Easter Egg Hunt—on Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. on the Green. Decked out in bunny ears all week, the cows will hide some of the eggs for the hunt. The egg hunt will also include a children’s fashion show and photos with the Easter Bunny. Children ages 1-10 are encouraged to join the Easter Egg Hunt, which requires a $1 donation to the Lynnfield Recreation Commission. You can register in advance by visiting MarketStreet Lynnfield’s event page.
