Three former Saugus cows have moved on to greener pastures in Lynnfield.
The iconic fiberglass bovines from the former Hilltop Steakhouse on Route 1 can be found “grazing” at MarketStreet Lynnfield, the large open-air shopping center off Route 128 that opened last year on the former site of the Colonial Golf Course.
Renamed “The MarketStreet Cows,” the bovines add a fun element and touch of history. A commemorative sign recounts the landmark restaurant that closed on Oct. 20 after 52 years in business.
