Scituate Town Meeting confronts a full plate of issues Monday night – ranging from whether to spend $400,000 to rebuild the town skate park, to rezoning land near the Greenbush commuter rail station to allow mixed residential and commercial development.

Also on the agenda are potentially controversial requests for an extra $1 million for sea-wall work, and $784,000 to buy a 37.7-acre former tree farm on Clapp Road. The town’s Advisory Committee has recommended against both items, although not unanimously.

Altogether, Town Meeting faces 29 articles, starting with paying $294,000 in bills from last fiscal year and $486,000 for costs associated with the January 2014 blizzard. The biggest financial matter is the proposed $62.7 million operating budget for fiscal 2015 – a 4.3 percent increase over this fiscal year.
