Police officer struck, injured by car

A Boston police officer was hit by a car while on duty Sunday in Copley Square, police said. The officer, who was struck just after 5 p.m. at Boylston and Dartmouth streets, was taken to Tufts Medical Center and is expected to survive, said police spokesman Officer James Kenneally.
