Boston police investigate 19th homicide of 2014

Authorities are investigating the shooting of a man found on a Roxbury street corner early Monday morning. The Boston Globe reports:

The man was rushed from the intersection of Regent and Dabney streets around 1 a.m. to the Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Boston police said.

The shooting marks the 19th homicide in Boston this year. This time last year, police had investigated just eight.
