Harvard University and Cambridge Police say they have identified a suspect in connection to an act of indecent exposure reported on the university’s campus this week.
The minor aged suspect was summonsed to appear in juvenile court and will be arraigned Tuesday, city communications director Jeremy Warnick said.
The accused’s name was not released. Warnick said further details surrounding the “ongoing investigation” would be released following the suspect’s court appearance.
The female victim, a graduate student at the university, said she was walking to her Peabody Terrace home when the suspect exposed himself to her around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Moments later she saw the same suspect inside of her building, prompting the victim to run to her apartment and call the police.
Another Harvard student was assaulted just off-campus early Monday morning, prompting the school to advise students “take appropriate precautions,” “travel in groups” after dark, and “be vigilant while walking throughout campus.”
Police have not said if the incidents are related.
