Police are reportedly reviewing parking lot surveillance footage that may help identify a man who allegedly kidnapped and later released a 9-year-old boy Tuesday.

Dave Brennan told WHDH-TV that authorities asked for footage from his store’s cameras after the student told investigators the suspect may have pulled into his parking lot.

The suspect is described as an older white man with a medium build and salt-and-pepper hair, wearing a hooded sweatshirt with “USN” written on the front and driving a light-colored four-door sedan.

He also may have a “rat tail” hair style, police said.

The victim told police he mistook the suspect for a friend of his father’s who had come to pick him up from Memorial Park School in Rockland.

After getting into his car, the two allegedly drove around for 25 minutes before the man dropped child off on Lake Street in Abington, from where the quick-thinking victim walked to a local police department.
