Authorities say Jared Remy could be facing new charges after allegedly throwing a milk carton at a prison guard late last month, the Boston Herald reported.

The corrections officer was assigned to watch Remy, who was in solitary confinement. The Herald report says Remy is accused of threatening the officer on April 25 before hurling a sealed milk carton and hitting the guard in the neck.

The story indicates Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian will press charges for the incident.
