Commercial Street in Boston’s North End has been reopened after a crane overturned and fell on its side earlier today injuring two people and shutting down the street for most of the afternoon.
According to the Boston Fire Department, the truck carrying the crane had about 200 gallons of fuel and hydraulic fuel on board, some of which leaked onto the street. Photos from the scene showed the crane landed on cars parked nearby and was blocking the street.
The Boston Fire Department tweeted that Boston EMS treated and transported two people who were hurt, including the crane operator.
