Crews worked overnight to put out a heavy four-alarm fire that broke out at a construction site on Charles Street in Waltham.
WCVB reported that the fire started in an unoccupied building that was under construction and eventually spread to a neighboring building with people inside. Everyone made it out safely, but other buildings also had to be evacuated. The report added that several cars, including a police vehicle, were damaged.
According to a report from NECN, all that remains of one of the buildings is a burnt out frame.
WBZ-TV reported that two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
