Former Patriots player Brandon Spikes was among the professional colleagues that were on Aaron Hernandez’s jailhouse phone list, according to court documents obtained by NECN.

Spikes and Hernandez played together in college on the Florida Gators and were teammates for two years with the Patriots, NECN reports. Hernandez also requested that Pittsburgh Steelers player Maurkice Pouncey be added to the list.

Hernandez has been charged with three murders and is currently being held without bail at the Bristol County Jail. His trial is expected to begin October 6.
