One of the pedestrians killed in Saturday night’s tragic Back Bay crash worked for the Red Sox.
Jack Lanzillotti, 28, was a manager for Red Sox Productions/Game Operations, according to a Sunday night press release by the team.
From the Red Sox:
“Jack has been an important, respected, and beloved member of our organization for the past seven years,” said Red Sox President/CEO Larry Lucchino. “His poise under pressure and good-humored manner helped us deliver consistently outstanding results. We are all grief-stricken, and we send our deepest sympathies and condolences to Jack’s and Jessica’s families.”
Lanzillotti was walking with his girlfriend, Jessica Campbell, 27, when they were struck and killed by a car near Beacon and Fairfield streets Saturday night. According to police, two cars collided, forcing one to roll over near the intersection. That car struck Lanzillotti and Campbell.
