The Chelmsford Police Department arrested an alleged father and daughter drug-dealing team on charges of heroin possession with intent to distribute.
William McInnis, 44, and his daughter Kailene McInnis, age 21, were arrested in their residential trailer. Police seized “a significant quantity of heroin,” several types of pills, and over $8,000 in cash and money orders.
“Today, we saw the result of hard work and good policing by Chelmsford detectives, which shutdown a family business of dealing heroin,” said Chelmsford Police Chief James Murphy in a press release. “Heroin is one of the worst evils in modern society.”
A third person present, Partricia Barbarossa, is charged with the misdemeanor of being knowingly present where heroin is kept. She was not arrested.
