UPDATE, 11:20 p.m.: Regular service has been restored at Boylston station after Monday night’s trolley derailment, according to MBTA spokesperson joe Pesaturo.
Original post: A Green Line trolley derailed at Boylston station Monday night, complicating the evening commute for many MBTA riders. Service at the station has been replaced in both directions with shuttle buses at Arlington and Haymarket stations.
There were no injuries in the incident, according to MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo.
“Regularly scheduled service will resume at the start of service tomorrow morning,” said Pesaturo.
Instead of waiting for the shuttles, passengers could also take the Orange Line between Haymarket and Back Bay stations, wrote the MBTA on its service alert webpage.
