Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announced Saturday, July 12, that he will join New England Revolution to host the final World Cup viewing party at City Hall Plaza.

The Revolution Street team, the Battalion, will be on site with give-a-ways and fun activities for fans. Slyde, their Mascot will join the NE Revolution Cheerleaders in spreading enthusiasm throughout the audience.

Mayor Walsh will be presenting awards at 2:45 p.m. to the three winning teams of the 2014 Boston Cup Youth Soccer Tournament held last June at Moakley Park.

The Argentina versus Germany match starts at 3 p.m., but City Hall Plaza opens at noon.
