Norwood Police have removed the remaining flag holders at Highland Cemetery after over three dozen holders were stolen from the graves.

Two piles of bronze holders were found by cemetery workers, but many more remain missing, Norwood Police said on their Facebook page.

Flag holders from six police and four firefighters were among the stolen. Veterans of WWI, WWII, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars are also laid to rest at the cemetery. The latest theft spree is the second in the last year and a half.
