A Carver man and his daughter suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Saturday, according to WCVB. The 57-year-old resident of Lillian Road in Carver was riding a Ducati Motorcycle on Leonard street with his 20-year-old daughter on the back when the incident occurred.
The father reportedly lost control of the bike on a curve around 5 p.m., causing it to hit a sidewalk and embankment before rolling over. WCVB reported that police said neither of the riders was wearing a helmet, and that the motorcycle slid 20 feet after the crash.
The operator was brought to South Shore Hospital and his daughter was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth after a requested medical helicopter was too far away respond. The incident is currently being investigated.
