Police say a woman is in serious but stable condition after she apparently ran herself over with her own car in a Waltham parking garage, according to NECN.
The woman, who was not identified, was apparently trying to check her parking job in a Westin hotel garage when the incident occurred.
“She was checking to see how far she was from the wall and somehow she ended up underneath the car,” Waltham Police Detective Sergeant Joe Guigno told The Boston Globe.
She was able to get out from under the car and back into the vehicle by the time emergency responders arrived. The woman is 54 years old.
The incident is currently under investigation.
