Police were on the scene after a body was found in the playground area of Moakley Park on Friday morning, according to multiple media reports.

According to The Boston Globe:

The body was discovered around 6:39 a.m. today and police are currently at the location in the 1000 block of Columbia Road processing the crime scene.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Mark Katic reported that the body was discovered near Columbia Road, and that the crime scene encompassed a large area that include a playground and some sports fields.

WCVB reported that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds and that the police initially responded to reports of a man in his 40’s staggering through the park.

No arrests have been made, according to The Globe.

Pictures from the scene showed officers investigating a wide area of the park, as well as a bouncy slide being set up just outside the crime scene.
