Brockton Police are seeking the help of Rhode Island authorities to find a 13-year-old disabled girl who was reported missing Sunday, WCVB reports.
Nadia Cosper was reported missing at 6:44 a.m. Sunday by the May Center School for Brain Injury and Related Disorders at 596 Summer St., where she lives, police said.
“We’re actively pursuing anything we can at this point,” Brockton police Lt. Kenneth LeGrice said Monday afternoon. “We have several detectives that are working on it with out-of-state agencies to try and locate her.”
According to the WCVB report, police said Cosper has connections in Rhode Island and they believe she may have left the center in a silver Toyota Camry. Cosper was described as Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, and about 5-feet-1 tall weighing about 107 pounds, according to the report. She was last seen wearing blue and white polka dot pajama pants and a shirt, according to Brockton police.
